What drew me to Emergency Medicine: I love rising to the challenge of a busy shift as a member of an amazing team of hard-working people who take on this awesome job because we care about our patients, 我们的社区和彼此. No two shifts are the same and there is so much to learn every day. But it all really comes down to the people we work with and the people we care for in some of the scariest and most important moments of their lives.
What do I like to do in my free time: Spend time with my husband, two young boys and my two dogs. We love to spend time outside and try new foods…. whether cooking or eating out.

What drew me to Emergency Medicine:: Emergency Medicine provides critical access to healthcare to patients for underserved populations and allows for a significant intersection of medicine and health policy advocacy. I also enjoy being able to provide a sense of relief to patients when they are not in an acute emergency and providing assistance to those who are. The variety of intellectual and "hands-on" medicine was really intriguing to me and I felt like the environment suited me best.
What do I like to do in my free time: I enjoy spending time with friends - whether its enjoying a trivia night, finding the best chicken wings in town or hiking. I also enjoy reading, cooking, exercising, and watching the latest streaming show.
